Hey hey hey!!

So good news! I'm married!

Sadly, I was sick as a dog on my wedding day and am actually still recovering after over a week of being sick! It put a bit of a damper on things but even still it was a perfect day.

I want to share a couple photos the photographer sent me as a "preview" to all of the photos!

I should get them all within the next week probably.

On that note, I'm planning a little revamp of the blog, the new name of this little ditty will be    That Gal Jenna! So if you see that in your blog list it's just little ol' formerly known as SewSavoirFaire!

Once I get my motor running on getting the revamp done, who knows when it'll be, I'll post again as a reminder :)

'Tis the Season to...Make Some Changes!

Hey guys...is anyone still out there?

Honestly I'd be surprised if you were still checking in on me and my little old blog seeing how I've been so overwhelming neglectful of it.

The fact of the matter is I just haven't felt in the mood to blog. My heads been spinning with wedding stuff...and still is...and honestly after I get home from work it's hard for me to want to be in front of a computer any longer!

I WOULD like to start blogging again. Soon. Once the wedding is said and done with I'd like to get back into a routine of blogging and blogging about new things! Like married life in my world :)

With that being said I WILL be updating the blog. Going forward...eventually...the name will change and the website address. But that won't be happening quite yet...gotta get through March first!

The big day is 55 days away! You can always pop onto the wedding site if you want to take a look at that too!

Things I Fancy Friday - Polka Polka!

I know, I know....where have I been??

I've been here. Not blogging. I think that sums it up.

It's getting closer and closer to wedding planning "crunch time" and now with the holidays right around the corner (HOLY CRAP WHEN DID THAT HAPPEN??)

I can't promise that I'll be here as often as I was...prior to my constant and unplanned hiatuses...but I'll try to be here more often that I have been.

I miss the blogging community and I miss your comments and hellos!

I've been really wrapped up with Instagram believe it or not...and not just my personal one but my instagram shop too! Believe it or not there is a HUGE and constantly growing community of instgram shops. I've been selling my clothes and accessories that were in need of new homes that could...well fit in them...to put it plainly.

It takes a lot of time! Lots of photos, packaging, shipping, and lots of questions! Sometimes I'm just not up to blogging when I get really wrapped up in it. I just want to be away from a computer ya know?

Anyway...I wanted to share some polka dot goodness with you today. Mostly because I'm wearing polka dots and I've got it on the braaaain!!!

What I Wore - *Periwinkle and Bows and a Cartwheel*

Happy October guys!!

How was your weekend? Anything interesting happen? I for one would've been thrilled to spend all day Saturday doing nothing but catching up on my DVR...but alas...the hairdresser was calling. 

Yep...I threw in the towel on growing out my hair for the wedding. Everyone under the sun (except for the fiance) told me I should grow it out so I "have options"...so I did. Then I realized...I don't want long hair nor do I care if I have countless options for my wedding day. I want to look LIKE ME...not like a person I tried to be on one day out of the year. 

So...chop chop chop it went. Four + inches later...here I am!!

Things I Fancy Friday - Minty, Minty Goodness

When I asked the fiance what I should blog about for my Friday post...he didn't hesitate when he said...mint M&M's and all of their "minty goodness"...he almost mentioned Andes mints just in case you're wondering the full spectrum of candies mentioned.

While I won't dedicate an entire post to mint flavored M&M's...I will go down the mint path!

So before we get to ALL that...whatcha got going on this weekend? 

I have a hair appointment!! I'm throwing in the "grow my hair out for my wedding" towel and getting back to me. Everyone says I should keep growing it so I have options for the wedding day but...I'm a girl with a short bob...there's no reason for me to try for something else!!

Oh and for all you instagram-mers out there...if you're interested in shopping my closet make sure to follow me at @shopsewsavoirfaire - My plan is to start posting on Sunday. I'm somewhat very regretfully parting with a handful of Modcloth items...BCBG...H&M...F21...and lots of others! 

Gotta save for the wedding!
